the teleports in the southeast corner go to different places the first and second times you take them - make sure you pick up some useful scrolls that way!
see the path lined with TaskMaker walls? it's a roach motel. if you're dead set on going there, do it last!
there are a heck-ton of powerful monsters between you and the correct pile of bones. you've got a couple of choices: beef up and fight your way through, stock up on gifts and bribe your way through, or grab an Extra etherealness potion and run for it. you'll probably want to bribe Death whichever you choose, since they are high-powered, and you might need to Examine (lowercase e) several piles of bones before you find the right ones.
